Oriental Studies Dept. Curriculum

Department of Oriental Languages and Literature

 The study in this department branches into two programs (Persian department and Turkish department), starting from the second academic year. Each of these programs has its own goals:  Objectives of the Persian Language and Literature Program: 

  • Mastering the Persian language (Speaking and Translating into Arabic and vice versa).
  • Analyzing the Persian society through studying the Persian’s literature and history.
  • The Student Masters the Turkish language (Speaking and Translating into Arabic and vice versa).
  • Analyzing the Persian society through studying its language, literature, history and culture.
